Why do EK staff in DNATA EK section wear those stupid hats all day yet Cabin Crew take them off during working? Really they must be so uncomfortable to wear and most have big smudges of foundation on the veil part that touches the face!

Oddly enough the hat is quite comfy! Don't really notice it after a while, although if it's windy then it's a pain, becasue it does end up with lippy on it! :) I just hate it when they don't do their hair right and the hat perches on top - ridiculous!

Obscure question indeed, but I hear what you're saying :) ..... I think it's probably because cabin crew actually WORK whereas the DNATA EK staff simply sit behind a desk all day trying to look pretty (& using the veil to cover as much of their faces if they're not overly blessed in the pretty dept!). The hats alone would drive me potty let alone the veil!! Luckily I don't work for EK!
