Hi, I went to Rhodes Mezzanine at the Grosvenor last month and it's the best meal we have ever had. Food was amazing and to top it off, the Man himself was in the kitchens cooking and came out later and had a chat with us... Based on this restaurant of Mr Rhodes, I am sure Rhodes 21 would be great also.... Nippy

I've been to both and have to say Rhodes 2010 is FAR superior to PierChic imo. Pierchic is expensive, food not that great and the location is its only amazing part. Rhodes 2010 in contrast serves divine food in a beautiful setting with perfect service. We've now been twice and I would go again and again. To give an idea, we went for my birthday so had 3 courses and a bottle of wine for around 900 AED. I think for the calibre of restaurant that was very good value (we paid about 1200 at La Petite Maison recently and that was rushed, not special venue compared to 2010 and food was ok)

We've been to both the Gary Rhodes' restaurants and enjoyed our meals enormously. Went to Rhodes 2010 just before Christmas and the food and service was wonderful, just one small warning - don't over order on the side dishes, we did and left 75% of them! The food at Mezzanine is more sophisticated and formal, excellent too. I 'd be happy to recommend either! The advantage Pier Chic has is location, it can not be faulted for that and is my absolute favourite restaurant in Dubai on that alone!
