need something new to love and devour.

Love comedy, easpecially if it is dry or witty. I 'get' American humor and Australian humor but not so much British fare (but happy to try something new)

Other favs of mine are:
The Office
30 Rock
Modern Family

So hit me with your ideas!

Some of my faves.. 30Rock Dexter Weeds Parks and Recreation Entourage True Blood The Shield If you like The Office and 30Rock you will love Parks and Recreation - although not sure how familiar you are with Mid West USA? Shouldn't really matter though. edited by Plano on 20/03/2011

[color=#0000CC'>Does anyone know if downloading programmes from the Du recorder onto a USB stick is possible? I have some travel and cooking programmes recorded that I would love to keep but just don't know how (or if) ...[/color'> Just bumping this question as it is also something I would like to know - there is a usb point in front of the du box -can it really be as easy as just connecting that to the computer?

walking about with his mouth hanging open ! I hate that and the swagger. I also like the reintroduction of the clips of famous people lying which seemed to evaporate in 2 as well. Me too :D

Definitely Lie to Me! Oh yes, Series 1 great, 2 a little bit off the rails then 3 is bang in there again! :D I loved sesaon 1. I thought he overacted the crazy in season 2 but not so much in season 3. I really liked how the other characters developed in 2 & 3. How weird is that, CycloneT. I didn't like 2 as much because I felt it and HE got too serious :D Have just watched the first 3 or so of Series 3 and love how OTT he is in that. Bit weird at times, I grant, walking about with his mouth hanging open ! I also like the reintroduction of the clips of famous people lying which seemed to evaporate in 2 as well.

I'm so glad to know things like this ahead of time - it makes you stick with it. If someone hadn't told me to stay with Prison Break until S01E04, I would have ditched it. I'd like to add an older one - Six Feet Under. I love 6 Feet - I intend to watch all again when/if I ever get the time!

I do love How I met your Mother- love Neil Patrick Harris. Right off to autotune that in the Du recorder. I haven't seen Mad Men but everyone raves about it. What is it about? I have some travel and cooking programmes recorded that I would love to keep but just don't know how (or if) ...

It's not comedy but I am totally obsessed with Dexter. Absolutely fab show, quite dark but so addictive! Also loved True Blood, can't wait for the next season

I really like Rules of Engagement (not on showtime you would need to download) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0790772/ It has the guy that was Elaine's boyfriend in Seinfeld and David Spade, very funny.

I've just discovered a BBC 1 programme, available via the iPlayer, called "Silk" (about barristers, not racing). I think it's excellent.

I do love How I met your Mother- love Neil Patrick Harris. Right off to autotune that in the Du recorder. I haven't seen Mad Men but everyone raves about it. What is it about? Mad Men is about an ad agency on Madison Avenue, New York, in the 1960's. Very nostalgic :)
