I have used Paula's Choice for about 2 years and love it. There is no exfoliator in the range instead there are hydroxy acid gels to use daily. I use to have combination skin but not any more..... :) She also wrote the book "Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter without me" which basically rates almost all skin care/cosmetics based on the active ingredients

I had consultations with a few different brands and took samples of what was recommended. I trialled each for a week and chose the products that best suit my skin right now. I find that every 6 - 8 months I need to take a break from whatever I am using for a few weeks and then go back to it. It is almost like my skin gets used to the product and it is not as effective. The last time I took a break I used the organic range from the Body Shop as it was fairly inexpensive and it was ok. At the moment I am using the hydrating range from Clarins but an Estee Lauder eye cream.

Depending on the time of the year, my skin is either normal to dry (winter) or normal to oily (summer)....is that possible by the way??? In the past I have used brands from Ponds and Oil of Olay to Estee Lauder and Clinic ... but for moisturizer and exfoilater... but want to try something else as I am not fully satisfied right now. oh and I fall under 30-35 age group ...

It depends on your skin type, age, price range. Can you give us more details?

Every skin type has a brand that works for it, I have sensitive/dry skin and use Dermalogica Skin Smoothing cream, very thick and soaks in with no irritation, I also used the exfoliator in the same range for a while but cant remember the name, it was good though!
