have been meaning to go to this restaurant since reading some great reviews. it's a large arabic restaurant on a corner of JBR walk.

i just tried calling to see if they do an iftar for tomorrow but the number listed everywhere is disconnected.

has anyone been lately that can confirm it's still open? they are also in the entertainer book.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but can anyone confirm that Sarai has actually closed and not just moved location? I was pretty sure it had closed but for the last two weeks Time Out has it listed as it's editor's pick. The number listed doesn't work, so it's probably just lazy journalism, but if it's just moved I want to track it down! Many thanks FFx Don't know if they moved but Ihop is now on that location.

What a shame that Sarai has closed :-( Hands down my favourite Arabic food restaurant in Dubai. :( We used to pass by it weekly, saying "oh, we need to go there sometime.." and never did. Is it undergoing renovations or is it closed for good...anyone know?

we went yesterday to the Dusit Thani on SHZR, it was amazing food and view and they accept the entertainer voucher. 149 per person.
