Again not a saying, but I wish people who do the exclamation marks sign with their fingers would permanently stop it

It's not an expression, but after a discussion with a friend just now, I have decided to move the word "dongle" to my 'Words I Cannot Stand" list. I agree CID. What's wrong w/ antenna or receptor?

I hate when I hear "irregardless". Its not a freakin' word! And I have even seen it in print here! Sarnies gets me too...but I think because I just picture two sardine with a piece of lettuce between them. I have to agree with "Tell me"..I find it so rude. I also hate "Do the needful"...wtf...

I really hate the term 'my bad'. It makes me want to slap the person and say grow the #$%^ up. [i'>And the overuse and inappropriate use of lol on chat boards.[/i'> Agree with MY BAD. :)

I really detest the saying - think outside the box. What half-wit came up with that. :)

"Could care less" It's supposed to be "Couldn't care less". Agree. Don't people think about what they're saying? When people shorten words like "sandwiches" to "sarnies" (what?) But then, here you and I will have to disagree. [i'>Sarnies[/i'> makes little linguistic sense (pronounced [i'>Saarnies[/i'>, why not say [i'>sandies[/i'>? In South Africa we called sandwiches [i'>sarmies[/i'>, which makes no kind of linguistic sense at all. There is not even an [i'>m [/i'>in the word. But sandwiches are and always will be [i'>sarmies[/i'>. :-) edited by Megawatson on 20/10/2010 edited by Megawatson on 21/10/2010 Just move to Scotland where your sandwich will become your "piece". :)
