What is it with this place and the obsession with bathtubs instead of showers? We have a 3 bed apartment and all three rooms have tubs. Very silly indeed.
my son is afraid of the shower...sometimes i think my mil is too.
i was hoping for bathrooms with bath tubs separate from really lovely waterfall shower alcoves. you know, the kind of bathrooms from my fantasies?
I so wish for a modern walk in rain shower.
I have a modern walk in rain shower in my ensuite with a very large soaking tub and a double vanity........quite nice

Yes for sure! Burj Residences are some of the best appointed and also Park Place, stunning bathrooms, and World Trade Centre Residences too.
which are better? the burj residences/park place/ or world trade center? (i think i may have stayed at the world trade center residences in 2008--not sure though, they are serviced apartments?) o
They are both serviced and longer lease rentals / unfurnished. Personally I love Park Place BUT they have no balconies which for me would be a real negative - I love my outdoor space. I fear you also need a unit larger than what is available (from memory I think 3 beds is the biggest). Sorry you are not finding this home search simple!
I was hoping they would be furnished so i wouldn't have to furnish it. i don't mind 3 beds, i'll just make everyone bunk up.

We are moving into Miradoor in a type 15 and I think it has a decent bathroom. It has a seperate tub, double vanity, and large tile shower (the little small square tiles like subway tile, not the big tiles you see on the floor) with glass doors. It's a good size and the nice thing about the type 15 is it has an awesome kitchen too! We are going to be in the low 200's so not a bad price.
do you have waterfall shower? and are all the bathrooms like this? whats your kitchen like? (is it light and airy? or dark and heavy?)
whatever, your places sounds lovely.

Sadly Dubai is not big on dream bathrooms and kitchens, it is still stuck in the 1970's. The newer Hattan's have some of the better bathrooms about but with a rental price tag to match - upwards of 450k! The villas in Arabian Ranches, Alvorada's and Le Collection can be OK too, as they are just a few years old but I would not truly describe them as luxurious - maybe you can plan to add a few luxury items to help upgrade the area!!
really? :( i don't want a bedroom, or a fancy kitchen. i just want a dream bathroom. one i don't have to share with my husband or my son.
a haven where i can shave my legs and put on make up in peace and tranquility.
but only want a house with those immaculate amazing awesome bathrooms---where should i look?
I didn't think that kind of build quality existed anywhere in Dubai!
