Hi Ladies, I would like to take my friend who's visiting for 2 days only for a brunch/breakfast at Souk Madinat at a restaurant with a nice view of the Burj Al Arab. If we can sit outside it would be a bonus! Any recommendations? Thanks!

Shimmers on the beach (all outdoor), only open in the evenings, is lovely and you can see the whole burj hotel. I think they may do lunch now too but would agree - gorgeous! Was just about to post the same :) edited by sunglow on 25/02/2013

One of the best views is from the Meat Company Souk Madinat, sitting on the outside deck - amazing view of the Burj Al Arab. They also accept Entertainer vouchers from the Fine Dining book.

Zheng He, which is underneath the Bahri Bar, is also very nice, and in the Entertainer Fine Dining, if that's a consideration. You can sit outside and it has a great view of the Burj. FFx

Pierchic is the best, thought it's not exactly the Souk. They don't do breakfast but if you ask for the set menu it's a good deal, AED175 per head. You must like seafood, though! Tables outside have wonderful views of the Burj al Arab, the sea and the Madinat itself. Otherwise, the Meat Company has quite a nice view, depending on where outside you're sitting. I'm afraid I can't name any other restaurants in the Souk which have a view of the Burj. Or, you could sit on the terrace at the lobby restaurant of the Al Qasr hotel and have a bit to eat, with lovely views of the sea and the Burj.
