Great! My friend is visiting from the UK and we are going with 2 friends from here. She went to see him last year in Manchester and said he was fanbloodytastic! She paid 80 quid for her ticket then and those were the cheapest ones. Looks like we have a bargain then in that case.
Yes, you might hear us on the bus singing "Happy Birthday" or "Isn't she Lovely?" or something!!!!!
No, not really....
I sent an email to confirm about the bus but not had an email back yet because the same thought occured to me about not being allowed on.
So looking forward to it.....
LOL yeah am hoping the bus might be a good little warm up for the concert - I am so excited - wanted to see Stevie for a long time!! Will update with any news once I've got through on the phone.....

Yeah it's on the confirmation email so hopefully that will be enough. Might just give them a quick call later to check, don't want to risk turning up and having fight with bus driver over missing info/tickets lol
See you on the bus...hopefully :)
I haven't had my tickets delivered, they are to be picked up at the venue. But.... I did read on the website that the receipt and/or tickets alongside ID need to be shown on the bus so hopefully my email confirmation should be enough. Is the bus element shown on your confirmation?
There is a bus going from the Hilton at JBR to the venue returning an hour after the concert. We have booked onto it. Costs 65dhs in total!
We've booked this too so am also hoping runs fairly smoothly!!! Janesul, can I ask did you receive bus tickets/info when you got your tickets? I had tickets delivered but just noticed that there is no mention of the bus on them though I did pay for it and is on my original receipt. Will give them a call later but just wondered if this was the norm or am I missing a vital ticket!! :)
ahh right didnt realise it was the opposite end, DH suggested that! DOH!
thanks Jackieq513 , ill call round the hotels.
Janesul, prepare yourself, ive never know anything to be that organised here! apart from that have a fab time!
Ok well, I really hope that I can come one here next week with "Message for Mulberry" and say ner ner ner ner ner and blow you a big raspberry because it was organised beautifully ;)
As you say though, this is Dubai..................

I know they were advertising the inclusive ticket and hotel packages, normally only one night with gold circle tickets, but for Stevie Wonder I think it was 2 nights only, but still works out a good deal.
Best thing to do is call round the hotels, there's the following on Yas:
Yas Rotana
Crowne Plaza
Radisson Blu
Staybridge Suites
Park Inn
Centro
The intercon is the opposite end of AD, although you probably wont have too many traffic problems getting there, it can still be quite busy getting out of concerts on Yas, but once you are out and on the main highway would only tak you about 25 - 30 mins to get there.
Good luck

Oh no, don't say that please!!!!!!
I'm hoping it all runs smoothly. If you have the option to stay over then you probably should. Circumstances mean that we have to get back to Dubai but you might have the right idea in staying over.
Does anyone know if they are doing a special package for the stevie wonder concert next weekend.
We want to go but getting there from Dubai might be a nightmare, as we dont want to drive there, the yas marina hotel is fully booked.
So thinking of staying over night at the intercontinental.
