Just order RTA, tell them you are going to Abu Dhabi airport and they might send you a big car. Cost is a bit over 200 dhs. On the way back is easy to get a taxi back to Dubai or use the Ethiad bus.

If travelling by etihad from dubai.. why not do city check in and take the bus shuttle service from dubai? It's free.
