HI,

I am new to Expat woman so not sure if there has been threads previously on wedding hair and make up. I am looking for someone reliable (and not expensive:;) to do hair and make up for my wedding in March in Dubai. I want to look natural on the day so would like someone experienced working with Irish/UK skin tones (pale)-
Any suggestions appreciated:)

I want to look natural on the day so would like someone experienced working with Irish/UK skin tones (pale)- Any suggestions appreciated:) Try zen asia spa for their make up and hair. their pakistani make up artist and arabic hair dresser are so genuine. i have done party make up with them for 150. I did take my own foundation though. Just cause I just walked in with mine. they are very welcoming as far as trials are concerned. i tried them this one time and i used it as my trial for reference for some upcoming events in the family. the one i went to was in JLT. its a decent price and i didnt mind parting away with my 150 for the makeup. hair was an added cost which i dont remember now.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding :) I can't recommend Dawn at theyaregorgeous. com highly enough - had my wedding here also & Irish pale skin - she did a great job! Nice natural makeup which lasted all day, she also does hair for weddings although I already had that booked when I found her but I would have no doubt that she would do a good job BTW make up artists are more expensive here than home, just so you know when you're looking HTH :)
