When is the earliest you can waitlist for a school?
I am particularly interested in DESS and Doha College and have tried calling both a few times with no luck, which I understand as they are very busy with admissions for the next school year. My main questions are:
- Is there a certain age your child has to be before you can waitlist them for a school? or does your child have to be a certain age before they will accept them onto their waitlists? I see Doha College says start applying in Jan for a Sept entry but from everything I hear the waitlists are long so I am assuming they accept waitlisting much earlier than that.
- Also, I see DESS prioritise British passport holders. We are Australian and I am wondering if it is even worth putting our son's name down at DESS. Are there many places left for no-British passport holders?
