That's over one pound a roll ladies! Do your husbands get an allowance for this extravagance?
Bought some Bouquet Sanita (?) yesterday which seems pretty good, better than my regular Kleenex!
Didn't think I'd be writing a thread about loo roll but I felt I had to know!
I'm an Andrex & Babywipe kind of gal.
Babywipe??? What on earth for?
Wet wipes, clean and fresh! so you don't have to keep wiping and wiping and wiping etc....... with toilet roll!!
If one has to wipe and wipe and wipe one should be looking at ones diet or plunging ones backside into the bidet.
You guys are too funny today! Have tears in my eyes!
:)

Andrex (quilted) for many many years and I have tried others and I don't appreciate when my fingers burst through, never happens will Andrex, so yes I don't care what is costs, I will always buy it.
I never buy Andrex but I don't buy any particular brand as sometimes I think the cheaper ones are better and other times go back to Kleenex. There's a new brand at le marche -paloma which is nice and soft and the right thickness and also has pretty yellow flowers:-) they seem to have run out of that now though. The problem with the "12 rolls for 19dh" ones is that even though they are heavy and so you are getting a lot of paper, the sheets are very thin so you end up using a lot more of them compared to the thicker rolls. I do sometimes stand in the aisle and work out the price per roll - sas really, I know.
I was told the thicker the roll, like Andrex, the more likely your loo will be blocked. Grrr! :(
I like a soft touch though :D Although, have to say, 'not guilty!' with the Andrex. I use a cheaper brand, can't remember the name.
Hee! Hee.......I love this thread......
>>>>>>......"Caviar for your booty".....LOVE IT ;)

:D
Or "Do you make your maid pay for Andrex by the sheet or by the roll?" :)
Andrex? You can get Andrex here? I've never seen it, I like the Waitrose own brand when I can find it.. I used to buy Andrex (not quilted) in Athens to take back to Geneva by car. Reminded me of when I was a child and we used to take three days to drive down to the middle of France and see all these English people on the roads with loo-roll and Heinz baked beans in the backs of their cars;)
I won't pay the Andrex prices... I use the Scottenelle brand as soft and non irritating! Some brands here are like sand paper.
You have to credit the marketing of certain brands, even in the UK i would not buy Andrex, but then i'm not a sucker for a puppy! LOL
