I recently got a conair hair dryer from US and I don't know what possessed me to plug it in without checking the voltage compatibility. 5 seconds later, poof, stopped working. Everything plus shipping cost a fortune and I didn't even get to use it once :(!!! Does anyone know an electrician who can fix appliances? I called jimiwilfixit but they don't fix appliances. TIA.
ETA - It's a table top dryer.
