Adol medicine making baby throw up, what else works for a fever?

My babies threw up adol too.. Panadol strawberry worked well for them..

Did he throw the medicine up immediately after you administered it? Could it be that he gagged and thus vomited it back up again? I had this happen with my baby and once I gave her her meds very very slowly with a syringe(no needle) drop by drop, she didn't throw up any more. She did well with baby panadol. But we also used suppositories, there are some available for babies from 6 months , ask the pharmacy. I wouldn't play around with them and cut stuff off, but get some that are the correct dose for your babies weight I was told by the pharmacist and pediatrician to do that because there is no lower suppository dose than 125 mg.

Hi, My LO also throws up when I gave him Adol and his vitamin. I asked the doctor if I can mixed it to an ounce milk and it does works for my LO. It may work or not for other LO

there is calpol, panadol, panadrex. where do you live? if you want i have all 3 of these and you can try them before purchasing yours. we get panadrex at govtt clinic every time and my ds has not thrown up at al. i havn't tried calpol with him.

Adol suppositories You need to cut off a small bit at the end to correct the dosage for a younger baby.

Hi, same thing happened with my son and then we started giving him Panadol ( for babies, it comes in a pink color box ) ..it's same as adol just the company is different...u can try tht it's pretty good... Hope this helped

DD got her 6 month vaccinations today and is running a fever, we were given Adol but after her 4 month vaccinations it made her throw up, and today again she threw up after taking it. Is there an effective alternative to Adol easily available in Dubai?
