We all must have fair share of 'advises' we have received from well meaning friends and family but which might have annoyed us to bits....lets share the most funny/bizzare/stupid ones that just drove you crazy and tips how to handle them would be greatly appreciated!

To start with, i recently got:

1. Dont go to public places and meet a lot of people

2. Dont eat out

What are yours?

"Madam you shouldn't drink cold drinks when u are pregnant." I kept hearing this from Filipino staff when I ordered something like a milkshake or cold water. Sometimes they even brought it at room temperature and tried to convince me how bad it was. Room temperature milkshakes are not very yummy

In early pregnancy: " Dont drive now, you can do so after your first trimester " After completing the first trimester: " yes, you have been driving in early pregnancy but dont drive now" And both the advices are from the SAME person! ! !

I thought the ones i heard when pregnant were bad! its much worse now i've had the baby! When pregnant: walk at a snails pace. I used to chase my cat around the house and ill never forget the horror on my MIL's face hahaha. drink fresh UNPASTEURIZED cows milk to make the baby strong. She still doesnt accept that this can actually cause a miscarriage. bring a housemaid and dont do any work at all or i'll have a miscarriage.

The thing I find most amusing when pregnant is when people look at your bump, then look at you for a while (up and down) and tell you "you're definitely having a boy, I mean for sure, I can just tell, you're all out in front" I had this sooooo much with my 1st and SHE is now 4. I do love how well you are treated by the general public when you're pregnant. I don't think I ever queued for anything when I had bump

No shes 3 days smaller than her gestational age actually so I'm not doing too badly...and I still fit into a size UK 12! You have to stop breastfeeding.... If you sit cross-legged, you could have a miscarriage... That is as funny as sitting on cold walls give you piles!
