I can also add that my sister does not recommend the interlocking ones where you can take out letters and numbers because they will never lay on the floor due to that your bub will keep on pulling them out ones he figures out how to do that so she thought it was just very messy. Also if you buy the larger ones that i have go for the ones you like best because you will very likely buy more as when bub grows and need more space to be on. We started with 4 now we have 8pcs.

I got mine at ACE Hardware. Think theirs might be a bit thicker than some others at least compared to Carrefour if i am remembering correctly from when i was looking around. Toys R Us think looked very similar if not even the same. I would recommend them they are great both for being cushioning but also its not as cold to sit and play on the floors as it would have been without them. We just bought more since the little one is now getting around we need them for a larger area.

I used them for my two eldest children and will buy some more once my baby starts crawling. As Daza said, the tile floors here are very hard on little heads.

had them when we first moved here for our first's bedroom, used a few as the play area with the second and plan on getting some new ones for our third. [b'>Just don't let the LO get to the diaper rash cream when near the mats LOL[/b'>. That is not so easy to clean off. I learnt that the hard way too! I used them in a playroom, they were great. The tile floors here are so unforgiving on little heads. Mrsg1, you can get them at Carrefour.
