My friend's son is teething and suffering quite a bit. Back in the UK I used Ashton's teething powders which were herbal and AMAZING, does anyone know if they're sold out here, and if so where? We've tried various pharmacies, Boots and Mothercare, all looked blankly at us and offered teething gel. Poor little boy is in need of relief and the gels just aren't working...

I'm going to restock in London this week. I can try to get you some if you like. PS I bring them all the time. They are never a problem with customs

Nelson's teething powders or boots own brand are the same, I had panic attacks when I couldn't get Ashton's but found those 2 just as effective. You can get them here in boots

Thanks jojobaaklini, I'll tell her and she can see if her husband can get some when he goes back to the UK at half term, I think she was worried about them looking 'dodgy' in luggage (white powder in wraps!), plus I then saw they were no longer being produced. Looking at the other thread people have brought them in without issues it would seem. Fingers crossed he can get some! I used Bickiepegs with my son when he teethed and they were great; her son hated them before we all moved out here in the summer! Good recommendation for others to use though. edited by Slurp81 on 06/02/2013 edited by Slurp81 on 06/02/2013

They are showing back in stock on the UK Boots website so the stock is now available again after their fire! My mum managed to get some late last year on the high street shop as well. she arrives on 11th Feb into Dubai, let me know if you would like her to try and pick a few boxes up? Have you also tried Bickiepegs, you can order from amazon or boots(via shop and ship) they didn't work for my son as he already had some teeth and I was worried he'd bite the end off but without any teeth they are meant to be miracle cures........ HTH
