Yes, when we did the HKG stop over we flew Cathay. Cathay, IMO, have the best baby bassinets, they are very comfy and have a canopy that folds over which is great to block out the light which will be great for your baby sleeping! ;)

Thank you Ladies! Shellly, we are doing the international legs with Cathay - is this what you did too?

One of our trips to Oz with DD was around this age... actually she was approaching 6 months. Each time we've flown to Oz DD has never had any trouble with jetlag. Coming back to Dubai is another story, and another thread :D Because you have a 2 day stop over in HKG I think this will make it easier. We've done the stop over in HKG with DD and it was wonderful. We arrived in Oz all fresh and not so tired. With feed times, I stick with the local time in whatever country we're in and never had any issues. Main thing on arrival into Oz is get your baby out into the sunlight asap after arriving and do this every morning for a few days. Don't let him sleep too much in the day when you arrive. This has been advised on many threads so I'm just repeating. What airline are you flying out of interest?

I always go by the clock. There's a certain amount of adjustment, but things seem to settle within 2 or 3 days.

how old is LO and how long will you be away? Any more than a week and you need to switch, basically wake them in the morning and during day naps , get them in as much daylight as possible and cross your fingers that they will sleep at night.

When go long haul with your LO's do you adjust his/her feed & sleep schedule to the new destination or do you continue with the ones from home? If you adjust, any advice on the best way to switch? We are leaving for Oz in a couple of weeks with a 2 day stopover in HK ...
