Hello everyone,
I've started my daughter on solid food - she is now 7 months. I would like to know from mums on this forum what food they would take with them when travelling long distance.
I still have not fed her the bottled baby food and i am not sure about feeding her that either. I make all her meals at home.
I would really appreciate suggestions from the mums on this forum as to what i can take with me when i travel.
Thanks

Ella's kitchen is sold in sachets at most supermarkets, they don't need to be refrigerated before opening, but they are often in the refrigerator section. I prefer the sachets to the hipp jars as there is apparently bpa in the jar lid liners

As far as packaged food, the Ella's kitchen peach and banana purees are good and non-constipating, most jar food is 90% apple and usually they taste awful, much better to make your own if you can. When I travelled I used to take some frozen cubes which I would add hot water to on the plane, I also took things like peeled pear, papaya, banana and avocado that needed only mashing or could be finger foods. Also I would order a low sodium meal for myself and then give that to my baby, and ask if there were any leftove regular meals for me, there usually are.
