Anyone else been in this situation before? Did the baby turn on its own or did you do something about it? Also, am I worrying too early? My doctor says there is only a 5% chance of the baby turning after 35 weeks so kinda worried.

Hi, I was told today that my baby is breech as well. He still has time to turn as I am 29 weeks. I am not worried about having a c section I'm just worried to know would this affect my baby in any way? Has anyone had a breech baby? And did they turn out to be ok? I'm just concerned about the future of the baby and not the delivery method.

Thanks Ladies! The baby had turned when I went for my 33 week appointment!! I didn't really do anything to try and turn it! I guess I was just worrying a bit too early.

My LO was breech from 27 weeks and never turned, despite me doing handstands and all sorts! It was disappointing to not be able to do a natural birth but in the end, a planned c-section was probably quite a relief as I knew exactly what was happening and when. 31 weeks is still early though - my friend's baby turned the right way at 37 weeks, so you still have time.

I think mine was at breech around the same time as yours. But she turned by around 34 weeks or so. However her head never got engaged. I have heard some breech babies turn when labour begins. Also doctors can turn them but guess it's painful.

You can be proactive about turning your baby. Moxibustion, as strange as it is, actually helps. Also, swimming encourages baby to move. I did handstands at 39 weeks with twins but to no avail. Might work better for you, though.

I also agree that it is way too soon to be concerned. I seem to recall being told that too around the same time as you but my DD ended up not being breech. I would not be concerned at all yet...

I think 31 weeks is still quite early, you have time! My baby (first baby) just turned last week at 34 weeks - it had been breech the whole time up to then. I think it only turned the night before my 34 week appointment as I could feel baby was very active the night before and then when I was scanned it was head down. I did try to spend time on all 4s each day for the week before that appointment, which I had read can encourage them into a head down position. Now I'm just hoping it doesn't turn breech again!
