Hi all

I suffer from bad circulation which leads me to bruise rather easy on my legs. It seems as though DS has got the same. He is 18mths old. His legs are covered and yes before I hear you say "he's a boy he will be covered in them for years to come" I have a number of other girlfriends with boys same age and as active and their little legs aren't anywhere near as bad.

Do you think there is something in his diet I need to add or change? Or any other suggestions?

TIA

Thx will rub it in tomorrow. Will text shortly sabc. Took ds to dr and they took blood test, had to hold him down basically lying on him to keep him still as he screamed as they took blood. Heartbreaking. DH away on business trip today too so couldn't come with. Doc said it could be due to our fair skin and that we have weak capillaries but then he Che king his blood work as well just in case. When we got home he was running about and fell over and now has a huge graze on his knee... That's going to be a nice whopper. Boys will be boys I suppose! I must get him some long pants to help protect him a bit, only have shorts that fit currently.

Arnica is good stuff, particularly for bruises. The gel will be fine. AussiePup, if you still have my number, could you txt me as my phone died on me and I have lost every single contact I ever had. (Same goes for anyone else who knows me and is reading this!)

My middle girl has also always been covered in nasty bruises. No GP or Paed we've ever seen has been even slightly concerned. I'm guessing that as long as there actually was a bump or scrape and that your little one's bruises fade away in a reasonable time, there's nothing to worry about. Perhaps just wait until next time you're at the Dr and seek extra reassurance then? Have you used Arnica cream? It's a lovely, gentle, herbal remedy that helps the body to heal from bruising and strains. If you're looking for something to *do* for him, perhaps you could try that. :)
