Hi ladies, i am in my 31st first week and feeling really enormous (child no.2). I work full time and my back hurts a lot by the end of the day but still am glad to be at work in a way as it provides a distraction and helps the days move along.

What I get annoyed at these days are comments from my colleagues of ' wow, you look tired'/ ' feeling tired?'/ 'bet you cant wait to leave'/ 'ur tummy is really showing now'. you are SO big ,etc...i know these are meant with good intentions but i find it so annoying when i am constantly being told how tired/big i look!

I do make an effort every morning with makeup/nice clothes, etc so am not pitching up at work bleary-eyed in my pyjamas or anything..just now a colleague mentioned again how 'tired i look'..she tells me this EVERY SINGLE morning she sees me and i am starting to get really ANNOYED!

I just replied with a smile saying 'thank you for reminding me!". I am trying to be positive despite the fatigue but it doesn't help when your colleagues at work keep bringing it up all the time!

is it me? :(

oh and I've never really understood the belly-rubbing thing, but it didn't bug me all that much, the taxi driver who asked me if I was going to breastfeed and put his hand on my boob though....different story! :/: Hahahaha! Oh my goodness.

just remind yourself that what she really means is "wow, I am so impressed that you are managing to keep working so hard, [b'>and[/b'> grow a human inside of you, I am in awe, surely you are exhausted, I'm here for you if you want help or need to complain about it", or "wow, there is a baby in you, thats amazing, it looks incredible" just use the mental auto-translate and hopefully you'll feel better, because they do mean well and if it still bugs you just say "oh I'm a bit sensitive about how I look right now, maybe we could talk about the project etc etc" KW's way is way more understanding and kind than mine. Lol. Take that advice. It's good. :)

I HATE this. I have no idea why all of the sudden when a woman is pregnant it is ok to comment on her weight, size and whatever else. I actually tell people that I don't like those comments or tell them that I don't find it very nice or if I know the person well, I comment on their weight right back. Lol. Same with the people who come up and touch my belly. Whenever they put their hand on mine, I put my hand on theirs. Did it during my first pregnancy too. Makes them take their hand back quickly. Lol.
