I'm keen to open a bank account for DD (who is just 3 months old) to deposit all her Christmas money and the like. Can anyone recommend a bank in Dubai that has accounts for children?

The account has to be in her name as we received a couple of cheques for her which can't be deposited in any other name account.

TIA

I know RAKBANK does offer minor accounts so perhaps the other local banks do too? But as Missymoo said, I believe the mother is not allowed to be on the account with the child - only the father :\: edited by GreenQueen on 14/02/2011

Most banks offer childrens bank accounts. I found though that my DH had to open the account for our DD

I have a savings account for my child for the same reason, and I have it through ING. Here is the website: http://home.ingdirect.com/products/products.asp?s=KidsSavingsAccount
