An unexpected surprise .. i recently found out i am pregnant with twins.
A good friend suggested that it would be best to see Dr George at AH because i have a high risk twin pregnancy and .. grrr i am an older mum!
Has anybody had their scans with him ? any feedback?
Mel

Congratulationssss mel_uk and good luck for your first visit and for HAVING TWINS (beautiful surprise!!!!!). Big blue...surprised by the detailed infos you have about Dr. Georges,Interesting!! Even his personnal nurse wont have such details..:) Half of what I've said is a personal opinion on his demeanor etc, and the other half I think any half observing patient would be able to tell you (e.g. quality of equipment) so I'm not sure why you consider this detailed info that his personal nurse wouldn't have, but at the end of day if it ends up being helpful to somebody, that's good enough for me:-)

Thank you for your feedback, these are good reviews for Dr George. I am so worried this time with the twins. It was a bit tricky to get an appointment but now i have booked my first visit. Wish me luck ! Mel Massive congratulations! I cannot recommend Dr George enough. I had a high risk pregnancy and was sent to him for my 20 and 32 week scans, he is an amazing man. I loved him so much that i arranged with my obgyn to get Dr George as back-up in case she couldnt be around on the day of my ds's delivery. edited by mel_uk on 06/05/2012

Hi Mel and congrats! I've been seeing Dr George since week 8 and I'm now almost week 22 so I've had several scans with him, including the 12 week NT scan and the 20 week morphology (some call it anomaly) scan. I am very happy with his level of attention, detail and with his demeanor in general. He is reasonable and doesn't scare you with minor things unecessarily. I'd also like to point out that after having been to 3 different doctors, his equipment (ultrasound machine) is by far the best. He is no longer at AH, he now practices at a private clinic called N9NE in healthcare city and he delivers at City Hospital. In fact I believe some doctors from City refer their patients to him for the 12 and 20 week scans. I am not high risk but I know that is his area of specialty so you should be in good hands if you do decide to see him. Best of luck!
