I had an appointment with Dr Koster today but recieved a phonecall late last night from a nurse informing me that she will not be operating out of Health Bay Polyclinic anymore. (Quite a sudden move I must say seeing as I the same day recieved 2 phonecalls confirming my appointment with her) The clinic offered no further info as to where she might be moving to.
If anyone knows I´d appreciate the help.
Cheers,
Scandi

She works out of City Hospital though she takes new appointments only on Saturdays. You can call and book your appointment with her:)

Hi guys. Dr. Koster delivered my daughter in November. I received an email from HealthBay a few weeks back informing me that she was no longer working there. Since then, I have been trying to find her so that I can have my 6 month check-up. I called HealthBay and they wouldnt give me ANY information. And instead they told me that they would inform Becks her midwife, however I have yet to receive a call or email. I then called American Hospital (where she delivered my daughter) and they told me that Dr. Koster had retired. I then came onto EW and saw a forum informing that Dr. Koster works part-time at German clinic in Healthcare City and also at City Hospital. I am confused, but will let you know if I finally find her :) This is a testament to just how good the woman is. I was thoroughly impressed with her throughout my pregnancy and my delivery. Will keep you updated

not the first time an obgyn leaves healthbay suddenly and with little explanation.... for the ladies that follow their docs, you may want to go by and collect a copy of your file from HealthBay. Mine found it to be a huge help to have all her own notes etc from my pregnancy/delivery

I have good news! Dr K is still around and is currently in the process of getting her papers in order and once that is done she will be working out of another clinic. I'm so relieved and thought i might ease some minds out there!

I am trying to find out where Dr. K has gone. Apparentely, according to Healthbay she is still in the country. It should just be a matter of time before the new clinic announces where she is!

TaraK, just to let you know I've been with Dr. Josza now from the beginning of my pregnancy -i'm now 25weeks- at Health bay and he's been fantastic. I haven't seen many recent comments about him so just thought i'd let you know that so far we've had a great experience with him. He's German trained. Efficient, to the point, always ready to answer any questions and seems to know his stuff. He's doesn't go in for chit chat much which suits me but he has always very calm and friendly and has been very thorough at all of my appointments. He delivers at City. A friend of a friend had him when she delivered her twins last year and recommended him to me and so far we've been very happy. Just thought i'd let you know my experience with him. As i said, not very much recent info about him on EW to be found. Best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy :)

I too, am so bummed! I am 4 months pregnant and had just switched to Dr. koster from one of her colleagues. I was impressed with her and fell very confident in her competence. I don't know who to see now. I may just switch to Dr. Josza for convenience, but I know nothing about him. I was told by someone at the clinic that they all received an email stating that she was no longer with the clinic (on Tuesday), and they were all shocked. But I don't know who's decision it was for her to leave. I would think that if it were her own, it would not be so abrupt.

Thanks mrsjbr and I agree with you bluecamel, very strange that she just left, hope she is OK and that she will return to Health Bay. Although they were extremely backed up that day they managed to squeeze me in with Dr Christian Josza (?) from Germany, very nice guy I have to say. Meanwhile I have found another swedish doctor at the City Hospital so I might just book an appointment with her just in case Dr Koster does not return. Take care out there :)

Wauw, that is indeed mystifying... I believe she was one of the founders of the clinic? She delievered one of my bubs and I have high respect for her.

Hi Scandi, I don't know where Dr Koster has gone but will watch this thread to see if anyone else knows.....I saw her in January after giving birth in December (she was amazing btw!), and had to ring for some results a week later and was told then that she had gone back to Sweden and may not be returning. Anyway, I did hear she was back at Healthbay in March but was no longer doing deliveries from American.....I'm meant to see her again in a few weeks, so will try and track her down and keep you posted x
