So we finally got a cot for 2 month old DD, but for her reflux I want to have the mattress at an angle. Whats the safest way of doing this?
Its one of the height adjustable ones, so should I have one end (where her head is) at the highest setting and the other feet end at the next lowest one? Or could it lose balance like that?

Hi, We were advised by midwife Cecile to have the cot at a 30% angle, we have acomplished that by putting one large book under each bed leg at the top end. Works very good. Maybe mot the prettiest however, just never got around to go to ACE to get a solid piece of wood to put underneath which was our intention to do.

You could also use the Mothercare Wedge? We used it for DD! available in most Mothercare stores. http://www.mothercare.com/Mothercare-Wedge-Pillow-Cream/397331,default,pd.html?cm_sp=ProductFeatures-_-Category%2520landing-_-Mothercare%2520Wedge%2520Pillow%2520Cream Wish these were around when DS was smaller-much cheaper option. Just be sure if using it under the mattress that it is the same width to avoid any potential gaps I have this one in plastic form-you are welcome to have it if you want

Oh that sounds really good! Where can I get wedge shaped pillows from? Unsure as ours is from Australia-hospital stores or large pharmacies may carry them-good luck sourcing one-our son's is a life-saver-literally. they aew designed for adults I guess as they are big-but because of their size also fit well under a cot mattress http://www.the-pillow.com.au/more/bed_wedge_more.php
