Hi, I'm pregnant after doing ICSI at the Dubai Fertility Centre. I would now like to move to a private hospital and dr. Has anyone done this before, and which dr did u see? I've tried to make an apt with Dr Elsa at City Hospital but the 1st avail apt is in April. Has anyone been to Dr George at the American Hospital? Please help....so confused about what to do next :-(

I just had a really difficult pregnancy. Honestly Dr George is the MOST qualified OB/GYN and maternal med specialist in this country! He has a wonderful bedside manner and if I ever became pregnant again - I would see no one else, other than him and if he wasn't available - then Dr Pour Mirza at FMC. Top reccomendtations there from burnsie, I'd second both of those dr's. Good luck

Thanks for that. Do u know if Health Bay clinic deal directly with insurance companies, or do u have to pay and claim urself? Dr Christian deals direct with my insurance company. Dr Koster you have to claim back.

Hi Just to add my thoughts to perhaps help you. I am pregnant with Twins also from ICSI and done a little research before finding Dr George, I had previously visited Dr Elsa and whilst I liked her, felt that she has become a victim of her own success and I didn't want to be in a situation where I struggled to get an appointment which many ladies on here seemed to be doing so. Having done some homework on Dr George, I really liked his credentials and UK experience and found no negative comments on him. Have to say we have now been under his care since October and have no regrets. He is a lovely man, very kind and gentle and utterly professional, it did take us some time to get to know him, but now I see someone who is thoroughly committed to his job and a really nice man with it. Good Luck in your decision, but at least meet Dr George, you will be at ease straight away and feel totally safe under his care. Best Wishes

I would recommend Dr Chistian Josza at Healthbay. Easier to get an appointment with than Dr Koster and also picked up an issue that had gone undetected for 9 months in my first appointment with him.

BUNKIE, You should try Dr Gertrude Koster at health Bay clinic at Al wasl, she is a specialist gyn with a lot of experience in high risk and special cases. its easier to get an appnt as well. Somehow City doesnt have a large enough slot for new patients.
