if you're planning on having more than 1, then I would invest in a P&T (with doubles kit) from the start. I didn't... instead I bought an iCandy Apple, which is/ was lovely... with a view to transforming it into a double with its Pear converter kit... which I did... and I only lasted a month with the unwieldy beast of a contraption it'd become. I replaced it with a P&T and love it. You can get various accessories for them and I've got: - car-seat adaptor that handily allows bubs in the maxi-cosi to be facing you whilst having your toddler in the bottom seat - travel bag to keep it all neatly flat-packed on flights - UV cover that fits over both children - hooks and a caddy-thing that attach to the handlebar (not actually P&T brand) I've also seen that they do a carry-cot - the "peanut" which I think is facing you, but I don't think you can still have the toddler-seat on with it on. I've also got a maclaren style chuck-it-in-the-boot buggy, but hardly use it, because the P&T is just too easy!

I'm a big Bugaboo fan - although expensive they are worth every penny!

Although not as fancy as Quinny or Bugaboo but I loved my Graco travel system. I have the complete set: stroller, infant car seat with base and a stroller frame for the car seat (this latter I bought in the US). When LO was still small I used the small frame to just attach the car seat. Both the stroller and the small stroller frame come with really big shopping basket and cup holders. It's also easy to clean. I just washed the whole thing and it looks brand new.

Whatever you do, don't buy the quinny buzz 3 wheeler. the worst stroller ever made. its heavy and doesn't turn properly and you keep on kicking the buzz box while walking. Doesn't even come with a storage basket. You can buy a shopping net to attach under the quinny for 99dhs at toys r us. Also try to put some oil near the tyres (or better, let the shop do this for you), works well. I hated my buzz too, found it really difficult to drive around. Got my finger trapped in it too with the atomatic release thing. I only liked the fact that I could clip my carseat on to it but really not worth all that money. Ended up selling it on dubizzle and buying a McLaren.

I wish I had thought about what to do when Number 2 came along! Number 2 came 24 months after number 1, and I spent 5 difficult months pushing the older child in our excellent Bebe Confort Loola Up stroller and carrying the newborn in the Ergo (my back and shoulders are quite weak). Finally we bought a double stroller from the Mamas&Papas shop in the Outlet mall. If I could do it again, I would buy the Phil&Teds while pregnant with #1!

Since we're on the topic, which one is the quinny where I see most maxi cosy seats attached to? I'm so so so confused about the stroller too...all I know is that I want one which is rear and front facing. Any suggestions? Hope u don't me piling onto your thread Leen :) You can use maxi cosi cabrio seat with quinny buzz stroller.

Not sure about Abu Dhabi, Leen. But the Dubai stores are as Plumie mentioned. ;)

Another BUG lover here :D Practical, durable, the lightest stroller on the market and very easy to travel with!!! Many people argue, that you wont get the full use of the BUG in Dubai, well it really depends on the lifestyle that you live! We love taking DD for walks around the Lake and in the area. It handles well on uneven ground and also when navigating through narrow isles when out shopping! And the colours are cool as well ;) Not sure what "wr"? means, but i am guessing "where"? You can test drive or buy it from Just Kidding in Al Quoz, Mothercare Dubai Mall and Bumblebee Dubai Mall! We test drove it in the shops here and bought it in Europe as it is cheaper abroad!

Another thumbs up for the Bug Cameleon! LOVE mine! So easy to push and handle and its brilliant to travel with! The travel bag that you can purchase for it is wonderful and fully protects the Bug. Plus I believe its the only pram that can really go 'off road'. We took ours off road the other day and it handled itself well. ;)
