It must be! The brother and I are 9 months and 1 week apart-mum always wanted twins and felt this was the next best thing-talk about insane!
Oh my god! Your mother is one brave woman wuffles, that is the closest gap I've ever heard of.
My two girls are 18 months apart to the day and they are now 4 and 5 and are best friends. It was really hard the first two years but we survived them and now things are much easier. There is quite an age gap between my second and third child so I think things will be much different for my third.
I think small age gaps are great, if it is indeed physically possible!

15 months (to the day!) is also the exact spacing between DD and DS, and yes, it was v difficult the first couple of years with both of them, but so worth it now - they are almost like twins, love each other to bits and when one is not there it's as if the other is missing an arm or something...lol!
it's great having them both at similar levels of development so they really can play together, do some extracurricular activities together, enjoy the same books etc. and since they've both started school, going back to work was easy, and i have a life outside the kids again...at least until no 3 comes along in a few weeks : )
TDB, if you're nuts, I was, too. That's the exact spacing between my two kids and I had a miscarriage immediately before getting pregnant with #2. With a 3 yr old and a 1 yr old now I think I'd be nuts and couldn't imagine how I was ready for another one so soon, but I'm now dealing with a challenging 3 yr old and all the excitement of a 14 month old instead of just the one. Good luck! And enjoy the "trying"!
I guess sorry you got your period but amazing that now at least you know what you would like!
There is exactly a one year difference between me and my sister so I guess mum literally didnt wait at all after having me.. and although it was challenging for the first few years (doable with help for sure!).. mum swears by how easy it got later on. Plus my sis and I are like twins now and are grateful mum had us to close together :)
I know how frustrating it is to wait, i hate the waiting part. but you just need to be really patient and like meagle said, dont read too much into it.. enjoy your weekend and just wait and see what happens after that :)
Only way to know is to either wait and see if your period comes on full force or to take a test in a few days.
I find that pregnancy hits "reset" on your body and what your prior "normal" was for periods may now not be the same, so I would try to not read too much into things just yet.

Hi TDB, when i was pregnant i had an implantation bleeding it just came for 1 day and like you mentioned it was brownish in color, then 1 week later i took the pregnancy test and it came out +. However, 7 months post partum, i got the same thing and thought i was pregnant but on the 3rd day i got really heavy bleeding and extreme cramps (first period after pregnancy). so i guess just wait a few days before you panic, and take the test first thing in the morning so that you know for sure.
I also paniced when i didn't use protection once, but i didnt get pregnant, and after what i went through we always use protection now.. sorry for the details hehe..
hope you get what you want :).
Hi DB,
I haven't much experience to help but just sending you lots of good vibes and good luck either way! My friend had implantation bleeding.. sometimes your period needs time to come? I have very irregular periods so not sure.. hence why I didnt know I was pregnant 8 weeks in :/
