I had this as a kid, and my mom took me to atleast 5 peads. Can't remember what it was, just that it wasn't anything to worry about.

DD was same - very normal, but do get it checked. In rare cases baby girls can apparently get mastitis.

I am a little worried because I just noticed my 6 month old DD had a lump under her nipple. I will obviously check with her paediatrician. Did any of you notice anything similar on their baby girls and could tell me what it was? To top it up, my MIL thinks she will have inverted nipples, but that's only about looks, so I don't care too much. Thanks a lot, violette
