Just wanted to check on mommies and babies who were born in March :)
My DD is growing - still can't believe that she is already 6 months. Got 2 teeth, so trying to put everything in her mouth :) We've just started on rice cereal - DD seems to like it :) Also trying to crawl a bit - it's funny to look at her how she tries to crawl once she sees her daddy walking through the door :D
And how others are doing?

Very nice thread! My baby girl is 6 mos and 4 weeks, has 2 teeth! She is rolling around and scooting backwards. I am BF and doing formula. We also started solids 3 weeks ago. She wasn't very happy with baby rice. She does like her Apples, bananas, sweet potato and teething biscuits. She likes to eat however it's tricky to get her to open her mouth, and I don't know why? I tried several different spoons and still nothing. Anyhow 3 weeks ago we did Cry Out Method and ever since she has been sleeping through the night! She used to wake up about twice to nurse. I just love the interaction with her old sister who is 3 years. I can see she loves her dearly and it melts my heart. I'd like to have #3! am I crazy? Glad to hear everyone is doing well :)

Happy to report LO is her own self again, which means she sits in her bouncer happily till daddy arrives home,... and then it's just pure whining for the hands :D How about your bf? Anyone is still bf LOs? I do, well partially, as I noticed that it wasn't enough for DD (she wasn't putting on weight properly), specially in the evenings, so I introduced formula. It seems to work for us as she started to gain weight healthy :) Feel v guilty, but I am rocking my DD to sleep. Don't have a heart to go through CIO or other methods. How about others?

Hi March Mums & Babs. What a cute idea OP! Our little guy has 2 teeth-1st popped out just over a month ago! (we are 6 month 2weeks now) He loves jumping in his Jumperoo, standing up with support and now started to sit without support but absolutely no interest in rolling or crawling. He showed us a couple of time that he can do it- rolling back to front and back again-but nothing more. LOVES his food and gobbled up all his purees so far (apple, pear, sweet potato, carrot and we now started to add broccoli, leeks and potato) He is very giggly and smily. Luckily not afraid of strangers and 4 out of 5 times smiles back if someone smiles at him. He now discovered our dog and cat and shrikes with joy when they around. Gosh, really could go on forever :-)

Wow, seems March babies are doing just fine :) today we've put 6 month vaccination and it looks like LO is in pain :( normally v active, but now just lying on the blanket with no wish to roll over and crawl She'll be fine in a day or two, dont worry. Enjoy the peace and quite until then ;) Mine is 7 months, and is a greedy little rabbit! She wants to (and does!) eat whatever we are having, be it rice, bread, fruits, curries, desserts, meat, what not! I tried fighting it, but have given in now. And the paed said its fine if the food doesn't pose a choking hazard. Crawling all over the place, standing up with support, putting EVERYTHING she can get her hands on in her mouth ( have to keep all the shoes and slippers out of her reach, because she loves those!), zooming around in her walker, babbling, waving, blowing raspberries....aaaah, i can go oonnnnn and ooooonnnnnnn! :D But I dont see any teeth yet :(

wow DC and Stovetop, i thought i was being adventurous with yogs and banana - we have a long way to go it seems! ha ha. Stovetop, have you tired the baby juices you get (not the ones crammed with sugar!) - maybe she will take that? I have decided not to have another baby........ i think!

So glad to see this thread! Time is flying way too soon. Solids are getting better than when they first begun. Rice, potatoes, peas, bananas, carrots, lentils, apples, pears and even cherries...the list is endless. She really seems to hate water though, and so we're having to deal with a few bouts of constipation too. :( I'm thinking about no. 2 too, but really, I musn't right now. :D

so it seems we've all survived! DD is nearing 6.5 months! no teeth although we've been teething foreeeevvvveeeer. i see the nubs of three bottom teeth but no pearly whites yet. she is sliding around all over the place...and the thought of her actually going mobile is terrifying! we've been on solids now since 5.5 months - rice cereal, oat porridge, yogurt, bananas, squash, broccoli, carrots, peas, mango, apricot, sweet potato, green beans, potato, apples, pears....OH MY! and to think she hated the spoon when we first started! is it crazy im itching for number 2?! hope all the march mommies (and babies) are doing great!

Hi, yes its funny to think they're 6 months now. My DD has 2 teeth too and rolls about the floor at a fair speed! no crawling yet though, think shes a bit too "chunky" ha ha. We are on mashed bananas and yoghurts these days.
