Hi, how are you?? I really like Dr nirmala and had great success with her. I am currently 17 weeks pregnant after 2 months of treatment. She put me on Femara just to help me along as I don't think there was really an obvious problem. We had struggles for 6 months after a m/c and she was very understanding of our urgency to get pregnant again. Pregnancy is going fine and I'm still seeing Dr Nirmala. I think because of my past, she see's me quite oftne, which is very reassuring for me and my husband (i've had a 6 week scan, 8 weeks scan, 12 week scan and 16 week scan last weekend). She has been fantastic through the pregnancy. Trry not to feel too confused and scared, I know its hard. I felt similar, but I found the Dr reassuring and would always answer any questions I had and at the time of treatment and since, she has always returned calls etc when I have silly little quieries so don;t be affraid of asking for her help with any questions or concerns. Just keep thinking of the treatment as a small stepping stone to getting your baby, but try and be realistic too. From what i remember with ay treatment they can only give a 25% chance of success, and with IVF its only 50% so try not pin all your hopes on the first attempt, which I know is really hard. That first pregnancy test was heart breaking as you just hope and hope with the extra help it would work. If there's anything more I can help with, please ask!!! All I would say is try and relax and take your mind off it, not that simple I know, it was on my mind every second of every day, but if you can give yourself some mental time away from it i'm sure it would help!!! Good luck and take care, and get taking your prenatal vitamins!!! Jen xxx
