Hi MrsEllie, I was told I am 6 weeks and 2 days, so very similar to you! I was prescribed Primperan for my sickness. Will see how it goes.

Sigh, I too have bouts of vomitting air morning sickness, sore boobs and tiredness. Thankfully my appetite hasn't affected much hence been snacking off/on. :) She might prescribe you (nivodine?) to ease your vomitting. Hope to hear ur update tomorrow!

No probs Maariyah, anytime :) I asked her as much about first trimester concerns, etc just in case if I'm fickle about which doctor I should settle down with.

Well, my doctor is a bit far but I need to recommend her here for those of you who don't mind the ride or live in the side of Dubai: Dr. Maria Koneva at Dr. Maysoon Clinic at Hamarain Centre - Deira. I live in Umm Suqeim but think it's worth going there. Second pregnancy now with polycistic ovaries (PCOs) and getting pregnant one month after seeing her. I always choose to deliver home (Europe) and when I get there and my doctor reassures me that she is a good doctor.

I saw Dr. Salihi at Healthbay poly clinic on Al Wasl road opp Choithrams and highly recommend her. Pro natural delivery and doeesn't send you for lots of unnecessary scans/tests. She has been in Dubai for around 1.5years after coming from Glasgow teaching hospital in UK and has every qualifaication after her name. Think she is Austrian. She has birthing rights at American and at Medcare. Congratulations!

Morning ladies! Ooh, what's with City H's gynaes, leaving all at the same time? The doc I'm seeing at ibn battuta is the only gynae (dr. Shamalaya, if I'm not mistaken). She's been working in welcare for past 7 years. Aside from the teeny long wait, I did find her lovely.Gentle and detailed during the scans. Am quite comfortable with her for now, and for convenience sake too. I don't think you need weeks in advance bookings as I managed to slot in an appointment 2 days beforehand, with insurance covered you pay only dhs50 :) Stovetop: thanks!! Btw, am still pondering if we should tell, lol! it'll be their first grandchild for both of our families ;)
