I am due with my 2nd in 3 weeks (#1 is 21 months old) and still dont have a double stroller. There just aren't any good ones available new in Qatar (only Chicco / Graco/ Maclaren and Mothercare/Babyshop/ToysRus/M&P own brands for sale here)) and no good options have come up second hand either. It looks like ordering from abroad is my only option. At this point I would be happy if I could get my hands on any of the following - Mountain Buggy Duet / Duo, Baby Jogger City Select / Mini or a Phil & Teds (not even sure which one :)) I know some others on this board have ordered strollers from abroad and had them delivered and wondering if you could refer me to good online shops that deliver to the gulf and also tell me how much they charged you for delivery and how long it took?

I got my P&T Vibe online in the UK and had my Dad bring it over. It was GBP488 - not sure how much it is here if it's available. To have it Shop & Shipped was about 800dhs if I remember rightly. A friend is using a courier company to bring over an iCandy Peach Blossom and I think it's costing her GBP150.

Hi novice. You can buy a Phil and teds in bumblebee in dubai mall. A bit more expensive than home but definitely a lot less than getting one shipped over. I got my buggy in the uk and got a friend to bring it out to avoid the outrageous shipping costs x

Hi Novice , I was also looking for international shipping and the only shop I found was Magic Beans in the USA but they charge a lot for shipping . They quoted me 500 dollars just for the shipping which is close to the price of the stroller itself! If you have family or friends visiting its a lot better if they can bring it for you. Happy shopping ;)

He he funny we come to talk about this again novice! Congrats on your pregnancy and wishing you the bestfir the birth. We have gone Phil n teds explorer. You do need 2 hands to control it I find, not so easy pushing / steering with 1 hand especially on slanting drive ways. Brilliant over bumps etc and different turf though. Am starting to think we could have just got the buggy board and stuck that on the ol pram as DS1 prefers to walk everywhere now anyway and he is 90% good at listening and following me with walking next to me in shops etc. I investigated prices from everywhere ... Don't buy from oz... Too expensive! Try if you can to get us or uk. DC got the vibe I think hers is wider and frame thicker. Other than that I can't remember the differences between Phil n teds vibe and explorer. All the best! edited by AussiePup on 25/01/2012
