I'm going mad looking for a pushchair that does what i want it to! I would like one where both babies can face me and then i can turn them around when older and also clip on their car seats. Any recommendations? So far i've looked at:
M&Ps Duette - nice but big / cumbersome when folded and only one seat can face me in the lie flat position
First Wheels - great. Loved it... but there is some uncertainty as to whether i can connect car seats
EasyWalker - great too...but babies will only face me when in the bassinets or in car seats. I remember my first LO wanted to be a bit upright to see the world but was not ready to face forward until 6/7months, especially in very busy or new areas.

TIA for your feedback

I had a Landrover pram when my guys were born. 2 bassinetes, separate so they didn't wake each other, flat a must for prems-they clipped off and chairs clipped in. It was fab! edited by snoop on 05/04/2011

I know - they really need to have a wider range of baby stuff here! Anyway, the company is called Rainbow Logistics and their Dubai tel no is +971 4 351 6908. I think I called the London office and their number in case you need it is +44 208 574 6655. Good luck

natashab would you mind sending me the number of the company that would ship the baby jogger from the UK, we are also interested in the city select but as starsouthern says it is going to cost a fortune to ship with Aramex so trying to find a cheaper way. I know there are a few mums that are looking at this pram so just wish they would get it here!

Does anyone know if, with the Bugaboo Donkey, when it has 2 toddler seats on it can both be facing me? On all the demos it doesnt show this option. Both bassinets face rear but i don't know about seats. I've seen pics with the toddler seat facing mother and the bassinet facing mother together so don't see why both toddler seats can't face you.

Starsouthern do you know how much the city select weighs? I just got the citi mini jogger which weighed approx 15kg and found a company that would ship it from the uk for approx 100 pounds - in the end my dad was able to bring it but can give you the number of the company I contacted if you are interested. Amazon.com says that the shipping weight for the stroller plus second seat is 55lbs so I guess round 25kg. I didn't check how much it would weigh with the bassinet as I don't think I need it. edited by starsouthern on 03/04/2011

The ICandy Apple is lighter than the Pear. Of course it is, because the Apple is the single version of the Pear. I started off with the Apple (nice buggy) and then got the "pip" converter to transform it into the Pear. I wouldn't go for either of these if you're flying regularly though because they dismantle into bits and there's no carry bag, so you then have to strap them all together and hope they don't get lost or damaged (which mine did). The Cherry (single) is the lighter option and *I think* they've brought out a double coveter for it. There's also the "Peach" which may be a double. I'm now a great fan of the P&T, but this isn't good for twin newborns. Sorry ment the ICandy Peach Blossom was lighter and is a twin stroller. http://www.icandyuk.com/products_detail.php?id=peach_twin edited by starsouthern on 03/04/2011

Natashab - i saw this one too but the seats dont face the other way. They've just brought in the EasyWalker too The Baby Jogger city select was recommended to me and it looks great in all honesty BUT i don't like that when the seats are facing you the back baby is looking into the back of the seat infront and then when facing out the seat is so low down. I saw a video from a exhibition demo and the guy doing the demo said he wouldn't put a bassinet there because its so low down it could get hit :s Does anyone know if, with the Bugaboo Donkey, when it has 2 toddler seats on it can both be facing me? On all the demos it doesnt show this option. Both bassinets face rear but i don't know about seats.

The ICandy Apple is lighter than the Pear. I've fallen in love with the Baby Jogger City Select. Now how to get it here? Aramex Shop n Ship is going to cost around AED 1700 and that's just the pushchair with the second seat not the bassinet and other bits.

Hi there Saw one in Bumble bee at dubai mall - think the make was TFK (Trends for Kids?) - could attach car seats to face you I think but not sure if the normal seat could face you too or had to face away but might be worth checking out. Good luck

I know iCandy do this (they're in the UK, so not sure if they'll ship) and I've seen one very similar, but it wasn't an iCandy (sorry to not be more helpful) BUT the iCandy Pear is a beast of a thing - really heavy... however, the model I bought is now 2 years old, and I reckon they've come out with an alternative, lighter variation now.
