Hi Just found this thread - I'm due with my second boy on July 25th in Dubai - six year gap between first and second though so a bit rusty on all the baby stuff! Also working full time until July 7 but taking rest of the year off. Would be great to meet other new mums. I'm based in Umm Suqeim but can travel. Hi Ladies, This forum is a breath of fresh air & a releif to find like minded people - I'm expecting my first baby on 11th Aug 2011, and I'm getting completely overwhelmed by everything baby related out there!!! Like most of you I work, but I'd love to meet up for pre-natal yoga, or even just a coffee at some point, so I can share some of my struggles with you. The one thing I have been organised with is hospitals though, and managed to get in with Dr Elsa at City hostpital, who seems amazing (only had one apt so far though). Gogi, I've sent you a mail about Yoga, let me know if you've managed to organise anything. Thanks

hi ladies, congratulations to you all, sorry to jump in on this post but also due early july with my first child (it's a Boy!!) and would be very interested in meeting others. would love to join in for yoga classes or just meet up for a drink if anyone is free. don't work so any time works for me and happy to travel as no-one seems to live around the difc area. also just on a side note does anyone know what's involved in applying for an australian passport for a new born? or even how to go about it? many thanks

It´s a boy!!!! Has my 20 w scan yesterday. at 21 weeks!Baby is beauuuutiful!!! (very objective...LOL!) everything seems fine, he´s quite big!!! but perfect! I don´t know if i can do yoga, i should ask my gyne....i can give her a call. But i would prefer mornings, as i have a toddler and i spend afternoons with him...does that work???? pivate sessions for a few of us would be lovely!

Hi girls, I am working full time as well, actualy it is all I do at the moment: drive work work work drive home bed... not sure yet if I will be working until the very end or after the birth... I will only have about 3 months maternity leave and dont know if I am prepared to leave my baby that soon... not sure, what are you guys doing? I had (have?) SPD and just starting to feel a bit more mobile now, so I think Yoga for me is not an option at the moment :-( I live close to Dubai Mall, if any of you want to meet up there on a weekend or something?

Morning! Yes I am woking full time. Just had 20 week scan a few days ago, but we haven't found out the gender, going to keep it a surprize. Seeing Doctor B again today for general check up! When is everybody free to catch up? I am working in the week, weekends are fine for me though? Hi girls, Just had my 20 wk scan and it is a boy (well, the radiologist was pretty sure it was a boy anyway... we could not really see "it" very well) I am in Old Town and plan to deliver at City. Not sure about the doctor yet... I have seen Dr Nirmala and Dr Grace Jacob, but not overly impressed by them... I have an appoitment in April with Dr Yulia and there was nothing before June with Dr Elsa :-( ...Do you girls have any suggestions?

Oh No! Bleeding is scary. Well rest is always good. I'm sure things will get better as there are couple of months more for the placenta to travel up to posterior/anterior position. Interesting that you have your own business. Ive been thinking about that for myself too......one day!! :)

Hi1 I worked, but i had to stop because of severe bleedings...it turns out i have placenta previa so i was on bed rest for a month...fun! I have my own business so it´s fine i guess??? now i´m allowed to mvoe a bit as the placenta has slightly moved
