Dear DubaiCat, you have done a great job BF all this time! It is totally normal to feel sad when you stop BF, drop of hormones and all of that. I was feeling really sad also when I stopped BF my children, It will pass...Give yourself a week or two:)

I feel your pain! I was a blubbering mess when I was down to one feed a night, knowing that I was soon going to lose such intimate times with my DD. I BF til almost 11mths which I was so happy about that. You have every right to be upset but don't worry, it will soon pass. Stay strong!

You have been very lucky to have BF'd him for this long, but its totally understandable you would be sad to stop! I don't think you need to toughen up at all, allow yourself to get soppy. These babies of ours are just too scrummy to toughen up over. :D
