Their "Now Open" sign means just that. I was there last week with my LO as despite having been to various paediatricians in the past two years I still haven't found anyone I am 100% happy with. The hospital is starting to gain in popularity but is still new. They are not covered by many insurance policies at the moment so you have to pay and claim back. I paid a little over 300 AED for a consultation with a paediatrician called Dr Younis. I was there first thing on Sunday morning so had to wait for 10 minutes for the paediatrician to arrive so I could see him rather than a general doctor but was given the choice. The lady on reception seemed to be very competent and knew what she was doing. The nurse and the doctor I met with were very child friendly and seemed more than competent. I was very happy with their services and quite liked the fact that the hospital was quiet as it meant that I could park close to the entrance and didn't have to suffer and long waits anywhere.

Despite their "now open" sign on the front, I'm very sure it's still an empty building without anything in it. Maybe they've opened some walk-in first aid clinic or something but hte majority of hte builidng is still empty.
Hi ladies, I'm thinking of switching hospitals. Anyone currently with SGH. Please advice on services/ care especially the pediatrics department. Really appreciate any feedback. Thanks!
