Hi ladies

I am looking for sandals/shoes for a 1 year old. He started walking a few weeks ago so I need something quite sturdy for good support. I had thought maybe bubblegummers?

Can you ladies advise me on good makes and where to purchase them please? However not very expensive as he will outgrow them quickly.

TIA

Our family loves Pedipeds. The only place I know to get them here are Pitter Patter at Dubai Mall (they will properly measure your childs feet) Our daughter grew up in these shoes (now 6, she's still wearing them). She had wide feet when she was little and these were one of the few brands that fit her. Our youngest also also gone through a few pairs now as well. You can checkout the manufacturers website for more details: www.pediped.com edited by Kaba on 06/11/2012

Also keep an eye out for the uk clarks sale online. I got my MIL to post 6 pairs of shoes that were between 8-11 pounds a pair in the sale and were over 200dhs here. I got my DS measured here and sent her the measurements and got two pairs in each half size up from now to cover his growth for a while. smart :D

Clark are lovely but quite expensive and made in China like all the others. Shoemart have a good selection of shoes. I like Bare Feet and Fisher Price. Just have a good look at them and get something with a sole that will have good grip on the ground and some ankle support. Thanks, will have a look around :-)

HI, just bought my 12 month DD her first walking shoes, I went to Dubai mall with Clarks, Pablosky, pitter patter names on my list. I ended up buying from Pablosky. Since you're looking at boys shoes, I'd always recommend clarks :) HTH
