Thank you for the advice ladies... I did go to the Dr and I somehow managed to tear my triceps muscle lol... not quite sure how but leave it to me to pull something like that off.. I guess i'm being forced to slow down one way or the other....

Although I had a relatively easy pregnancy, I did experience incredibly bad joint and ligament pain including in the shoulder and on both sides. I mentioned it to my doctor at each visit and was told that it was perfectly normal. I was a bit of gym junkie before pregnancy and continued going during pregnancy. Lifting weights and cardio did absolutely nothing to help with the pain but what did work wonders was pregnancy pilates. I just downloaded a DVD and went to it at home two or three times a week - amazing. Your ligaments and joints generally stretch due to changing hormones. I actually grew a couple of centimetres - weird! Post delivery, I suffered a fractured foot but without actually having an accident, it just happened out of the blue. The doctor treating it said he had seen some pregnant women suffer odd bone related injuries post delivery particularly if they had sore ligaments and joints during pregnancy. Best to get it checked out and if it is general pregnancy pain, give something like pilates or yoga a go. take care

I've had two ultrasounds, so I know it is not an Ectopic pregnancy... and I will probably have to go to a regular doctor since this may not be a an OB Gyn issue.... Thanks guys....

Dont mean to alarm you..........and it prob isnt as your 13weeks and must have had a scan by now, but shoulder pain can be a sign of Ectopic Pregnancy. As Dubaicat says best get it checked out ASAP. Wishing you all the best for your pregnancy x x

I'd go just to be on the safe side. Even if someone else on here had the same symptoms, it might have been a different problem so best to get yourself checked out.
