Try having your AC sterilised. There's a few companies that do this. Also use one of those sphere things in his room to clean the air out. Hope he gets better. We had something similar with DD who was on-off sick for 2 solid months with ear, eye and throat infections as well as a very nasty hacking cough and fevers. Ten days ago we had our AC ducts cleaned and sterilised and, touch wood, DD seems to be a lot better since. The firm that did it was EPSCO or something similar. It was pricey mind but worth every dirham as I was so worried about DD. DebsDebs - am glad you ended up trying EPSCO and I hope it has sorted out your problem. Were they able to tell you if you had some sort of mold problem in the room?

thanks ladies. One time it was viral, twice bacterial. At least according to them. He's never been sick more than a little runny nose before this and he's 3 yrs old.

I am sorry to hear about your DS. It must be awful for both you and him. Agree with Shelly. Just one quick question, do you know if the infections he has were bacterial or a virus. If they were viruses, then there isn't much you can do and my guess would be he has been unlucky and his lower immune system has made him more susceptible to catching things. Good Luck!

Aww hope you can get to the bottom of it asap. Must be horrible :( All I can say is for you to trust your gut instinct. A great Paed I once saw told me this. He said a mother should always trust her gut instinct, even of she thinks the docs will think she's crazy. Good luck!!

DS has been sick off and on sick January. Friends/family asked if he was allergic to something at school but this time definitely proves that can't be the case since he last went on Wednesday, came home fine and has been getting worse since then. He's had throat infections, horrible coughs, ear infections, high fevers. We've been to the doctor several times, given prescriptions etc. Now I'm really starting to worry that maybe its something more severe that we're not catching or checking for. Can we go to the dr here and say that we want blood tests run even if he doesn't mention them? I've just had a very unsettling feeling all day today.
