We got the Phil and Ted's and got the bracket to attach it into the pram with. We have 3 boys so I wanted something our toddler would be able to go into as well as bub.
We bought the quinny buzz 3 to go with the maxi cosi car seat. The adapters were included. The quinny is a comfortable ride for our baby and easy to fold/unfold, but quite heavy to travel with, and the wheels are a bit wide apart, so sometimes difficult to navigate between the aisles in small shops/doorways. I find also that the wheel part doesn't fold down very small and take up lots of space in the car boot.
We got the maxi cosi mura 3 to go with the maxi cosi seat and pram. We're really pleased with it. It gets great reviews and is really sturdy and good for bumps and sand. However, it's not lightweight, it's a fairly big chassis! It does fold down and you can also take all 3 wheels off (very easy to do) to save more room. To fold it down you have to remove the car seat so slight faff.
It should come with the seat that takes them to about 5 years old. I think this seat you can have both facing you or facing away (can't remember for sure!) The only problem is that if you want to fold it down with the seat, you can only do that if it's facing away from you, otherwise you have to remove the seat.
It has pheumatic tyres, so more comfortable ride for the child. It's also really easy to fold down and put up again once you have the knack and also an adjustable handle height and nice size basket underneath.
We got ours shipped from UK as it was much cheaper there and it was much easier to order what we needed/was in stock. But I think Mothercare in Dubai Mall sells them as does Just Kidding - although I find Just Kidding completely over-priced and so I don't buy anything from there. There's a pushchair shop next to Mothercare in Dubai Mall which has quite a good range and they're helpful in there. Service in Mothercare was hit and miss and they never seem to have anything in stock or know when it's coming in or what you can order/how long it will take, etc - usual Dubai service!!
Mumsnet and Amazon quite often have reviews of pushchairs, so might be worth a look on those sites.
It fits in the mothercare mychoice (3 or 4 wheeler) without adapters and the bugaboo chameleon and the quinnys with adapters. (I'm not sure whether you buy these separately). We have the Mychoice My3 and I love it apart from it being a bit difficult to take apart when using the big seat in front facing position. Depends a lot on both your budget and your needs. I didn't leave my baby in his carseat much when he was a newborn as I was worried about his airways being compressed but once he had better neck control I did find it quite handy for shorter trips. Getting the easybase for your car makes life much easier too. (or even 2 bases if you have 2 cars)
We bought a Quinny Buzz which is compatible with your car seat and were happy with it. It's not lightweight by any means, but it's a comfortable ride for the boy.
