Thanks ladies for your suggestions! I checked the Mothercare stores in DCC and Oasis Center, but will now check out the Dubai Mall one.
@TwoKids: I too feel that spending 250 bucks for something that they'll use only for a couple of months is not worth it.
@Moonbean: That's so generous of you to offer me the swimsuits! First let me check out the suggested stores and if I don't have any luck, I'll take up your kind offer. Thanks again!
I saw some all in ones at Next the other day too. They were right at the back of the children's setion in the MOE store, but i can't comment on the price as wasn't looking at them.
I have bought my tops (rash vest tops for sun protection) in Pumpkin Patch at the outlet mall for about 40 AED each. I then only place DS in a swim nappy and the top. When we go at 5.30-6pm I just lather him in sunscreen and don't even worry about the top. A friend of mine does exactly the same for her daughter.
Hi I have a lot of swim suits I was given for different ages, I know my DD will never get to wear them all before she outgrows them, you are welcome to have a look and if you like you can have a couple:)
Failing that beyond beach do really nice ones for kids, I bought one for my DS that is long sleeved for extra sun protection(99dhs). The beyond beach in motor city is on sale, not sure if other branches are.
good luck
ETA: I live in motor city too

Mothercare...they have plenty of models to choose from (the shops in Dubai Mall and Mirdiff City Centre are quite big so you should find something there)
My 7 mo is in a Huggies swimmer nappy most of the time. If there is any chance that he will catch the sun, he wears a long sleeved Lycra top (rashie). I'm sure that Mothercare in Dubai Mall had lots of swimsuits. ELC and sports shops have swimsuits. I wouldn't pay 250! A two piece outfit is easier for nappy changing.
Hi ladies,
I want to take my 8-month-old girl for swimming during the summer. But I don't know where I can buy reasonably priced swimwear for her (I don't want to spend a lot because she'll outgrow it in a second). I've looked in Mothercare but they said they don't carry swimsuits.
I've seen swimwear in the Just Kidding web site for around AED 250/-. Does anyone know of any other choices here in Dubai??
Thanks heaps!
