You are correct - it's not needed, but the vaccination programme here includes it as routine, even though Dubai has one of the lowest TB rates in the world. There was another thread on it where I linked all the WHO information - the UK has a rate of 14.something per 100,000 and Dubai is 4.6.
As always, it's your call.
