Teeth cutting, refusing to eat, throwing up, constipation - are they all related?!?!
So I found a lovely surprise on Friday whilst trying to feed DD papaya with my finger - her 2 front teeth are cutting!!! DD is 24 weeks old, so just under 6 months.
- She has gone from eating 3 meals a day - to none :\: She literally shuts her mouth close and shakes her head from side to side as if to say NO-NO-NO
- She went from having a poopy diaper every day to nothing! Eventually gave her a glycerine sypository on Sat and so discovered she was constipated :( Have never seen her strain that hard, red in the face, crying, until eventually one hard little "poop" came out! Gave her another suppository and "green mash potato like" poop came out! Nothing since.
- Has been having "abnormal" spit up after every milk or solid meal?!
- Apart from her teeth coming through, there has been no excessive drooling, no temperature and no "biting aggressively" on objects!
Please tell me these are all related to those little monsters trying to make an appearance in her mouth!?
Or could this be pointing to a viral infection which is upsetting her tummy, hence not wanting to eat?
ETA: She is still taking all 3 naps during the day, however waking for a feed during the night now as she is not getting enough food/calories during the day! Also refusing to nurse today :(
