thanks for all the suggestions ladies. I ended up looking at sooo many rugs today at MCC, and ended up with the rug I wanted from Pottery Barn but at full price, not the floor stock option which just looked a tad too grubby for my liking, even though they insisted it would wash well. Full price was still very reasonable (thanks Shelly!!) so am very happy with my purchase :)

I'm not sure what the name of the furniture store for kids is called but it is opposite Peek a Boo in Ibn Buttuta Mall it has strawberry logo. They had nice rugs in there. Another place you could try is Just Kidding in Gold and Diamond Park.

I can't remember, I'd have to check the receipt and that is in missy's room and she's fast asleep. Will have a look for it tomorrow and let you know. I just remember thinking that it was cheaper then we assumed it would be for Dubai prices. They also have different sizes for each rug.
