We put our son on camels milk at about 13months as he was getting rashes from cows milk. He loved it! After going on holiday at 15 months we ended up back on cows milk and he was fine with it, no rashes. He is now 2 and a half and asked for camels milk while in spinneys last month and since then he refuses to drink cows milk! If I run out of camels milk I have to tip cows milk into the camel container otherwise big temper tantrums for camel milk. Ive read its the closest to human milk... more proteins etc than cows milk. (not the reason we used it but interesting)

We were looking to do this to for DS1 who has lactose issues. However as a good friend pointed out if you travel on holidays anywhere through the next couple of years, you are not going to find camels milk other than this region. It's hard enough getting it here from the spinneys near me, don't think they stock enough.

question springs to mind "why"? just do the cow's milk as all dairy (if you are already giving or planning on giving) are based on cow's milk anyway.
