I did a gender scan at 17 weeks in my last pregnancy (I was told they wouldn't do it until 19 weeks so I lied about how far along i was :D). They told me with 85% certainty I was having a girl and showed me clearly and I knew they were right. Im 13 weeks now and absolutely DYING to find out! Has anyone found out earlier than 17 weeks?

I had a 4d scan at 12 weeks and my doctor told me 80% chance it was a girl. I have now had it confirmed at 18 weeks and it is definitely a girl.

I just kind of 'knew' I was having a girl, I asked at my 12 week scan and the Dr said 80% a girl but not go buying pink just in case, every scan thereafter I was also told girl, with a few different Drs, and I had the DNA blood test at 25ish weeks and girl was confirmed so they were right all along :)

I've been boring and waited the full 18 weeks before finding out. I've heard enough recent stories of parents being told with certainty to expect one gender, only to be very surprised later in the pregnancy!

I found out at 11 weeks because I did the NIPT test, that is the only way to find out early with 99% accuracy as it is a DNA test. However the test is expensive and usually only advised for "older" mothers as the primary reason for testing is Down syndrome and other chromosome conditions.
