Dear all Jan mums (and those who came a little early or a little late). I was thinking that it would be lovely to catch up in person and was thinking that we could meet up at our place in Jumeriah one afternoon. Timing wise was thinking mid Feb would be good to let all the end of Jan mums to find their feet. So if you are keen to catch up drop me an email (hendys at eim dot ae) and I will drop everyone an email closer to the time to arrange. I'm home with my new baby girl! ☺☺ DH, DD,DS and I are over the moon and very blessed to have her in our family. We are doing well and had a great experience. God is good. Good luck perkynana! Breastfeeding is NOT easy but honestly, this is the best thing thats happened to me, ever. I love struggling, i love every new thing every day, i love missing sleep if it means an extra hour with my crying son LOL i love him to bits, and i already cant imagine my life without him in it. i also had a low lying placenta at one of my scans ... have never asked about it again - thanks for reminding me udah83! i have an appointment on tuesday so will check it out then. baby is fine, that's all that matters ;) good luck x

hi everyone... feeling a bit low today....had a repeat scan yesterday for location of placenta coz it was low on my 20weeks scan and found out that its still low...near the cervix,not touching it though...have yet to discuss delivery options with doc but I had really high hopes that placenta would have moved up by now! Baby is fine thank God... Good luck to everyone!

I know what you all mean - 7 weeks for us although Dr and Midwife have both said that it looks like she will be early. Sleeping is something that comes and goes at the moment - I am not ashamed to nap on the weekends at all. Ankles were a distant memory but with 10 days of remembering to put them up i am starting to recognise them again. DD has started her way down so my belly looks smaller (which seems odd) but lower. Work is flat out as I try to get as much done before i finish early Jan; oh and we moved house a few weeks ago. Thank goodness by DH is a star and is looking after us both very well. So all good in our household - just can't wait to see her now. Take care everyone.

hello uhad83, congrats! how is everyone doing? only 6 weeks to go for me and we're very much looking forward to the new arrival. i'm also struggling with sleeping. and turning over during the night - what a nightmare! i've stopped exercising purely because i have so much to do. trying to slow down at work & wind down before maternity leave kicks in (jan 1st) - my hand-over notes are loooong. i hope everyone's doing well x

Hello ladies, I hope you don't mind me posting but I noticed that a few of you live in or near the Ranches, I have just moved to Al Reem 2 and am pregnant with my first baby which is due in February. I noticed that a there was some chat about meeting up in the evenings to do a bit of exercise and wanted to see if you had managed to find any classes? I also don't finish work until 6.30 and am finding it quite difficult to muster up the will power to get off my bottom and do some exercise! I would really like to meet up with anyone else feeling the same!
